I really did it. One of my goals this year was to run a 10k. The week before I left for DC I realized that I had better get on with it or winter would be here, and I'd be unable to cross that one off my list. So the morning I left for DC I rand the Pride of the Valley 5k/10k. My good friend Nicole came to take pictures and ended up running the 5k. It was great to have her there with me.
