Pioneer Day in Hurricane Part 3: Sand Hollow

After Zions ma and pa Conder took us and dropped us off at Sand Hollow for a swim. They took us because they could get us in for free. It is a beautiful lake. We swam out to some rocks and jumped off. We didn't get much time to ourselves though because a young drunk guy who looked like Kevin Bacon started following us around. He said he was our coach to help us jump in. He also said we looked like good people, and that's why he came over. He was on a floatie and said if we could jump on him we would get his floatie. None of us attempted except Nate when "coach" wasn't expecting it and so Nate got his floatie while he jumped. It was pretty funny. Afterwards we waited for a 1/2 hour for my parents to come get us. They had to go get my sister whose bike had got a flat tire riding over to their house. We played the "what if" game. My favorite was 'would you rather take a mediterranean cruise, go to Egypt, or go on a hot air balloon with the chipmunks (which Nate added)'. Who could pass up a hot air balloon ride w/ the chipmunks?

Sunday after church we had a BBQ at April's house. Brook's dolls all had to have food too. They probably ate more then her. It was a fun weekend, with not much down time, but well worth the trip.
