Nicole W., Nicole and Nate, and I decided it would be fun to head on down South for Utah's Pioneer Day. Around the 4th of July I had talked Nicole F. into buying a bonnet for $5 for the occasion, but alas, I forgot to remind her to bring it. We were heartbroken. Pioneer Day we went shopping in St. George, ate at the Pizza Factory, and then went to the Second Hand Seranade concert at the Dixie Sunbowl. Single File opened for them, followed by Parachute. Both bands were excellent, and, I have to admit, did a better job than the main performance. All of the bands made comments about how hot it was. We felt a little old being there with all the high schoolers, but we had a lot of fun. We hung out about 1/2 way towards the back just relaxing.
Of course there were faces made during the event. This was pre-loopiness also. I'm still trying to decide whether my "Gilly" face or Nicole's gum won.
