Halloween: a highly eclectic post

This post is going to be long, super eclectic lookin', and a gazillion pictures.
Prepare yourself for a good long sit--unless you stand at your computer.

The Saturday before Halloween we got together for a Halloween party at the Fawcett home, which included:
a) A potluck dinner of soup in bread bowls, and tons of treats.
b) A cakewalk w/super cute cupcakes.
c) A costume contest.
d) Loads of silliness.

(The cast of characters - minus a few):
Candid photos of the evening:
We had a costume contest and the winners were:
Best adult costume:  Tom Giles as Mike Wazowski of Monsters, Inc.
Best child costume:  Will Fawcett as a Chick-fil-a cow
Best overall costume (team):  the Giles family as Mike, Celia, and Boo of Monsters, Inc.

Towards the end we decided to have fun with Chris' wig.

Monday at work they had a department decorating contest.  One department did a "Grease" theme, and another an outdoor type theme (I forgot the actual name).  I'm not sure what rodent that was--but it was disturbing.

Halloween night (Monday) we went to the annual MSA/YSA Halloween party up in Hobble Creek at the Spring Haven mansion.  There were over 500 people there.  It was packed.  I actually don't have any pictures from that... Boo (and not in a scary way--a sad mime crying kind of way).

Addie helped out on Halloween with Izzy's class, and then she took the girls up to Shaun's work for trick-or-treating.  Also, shown is their night of pumpkin carving.  They look hyper (probably from the chocolate evidence around their mouths).

April, Brooke, and Bk ran in the "Spooktacular" run in St. George.  I think it was a 5k.  Brook ran ahead of April the whole way, but Bk lagged behind bored collecting leaves.  He did point out that he was ahead of some old ladies still.
Mom running to get some chocolate chips.

To end this eclectic post--I give you a photo from "crazy hair day" at school.
Sophie went along by giving us her best bed-head hair.
