Sophie - 3 months!

Here are a couple pictures of Sophie at 3 months. She is soooooo cute. Kt and Izzy still are not able to leave her alone. They just love her too much. I just love these pictures of her.

Izzy

Here is a picture of Izzy doing her own hair. Headband + 2 low pigtails = adorable. Izzy has one of the funniest personalities. She is so independant. Addie said the other morning she came into their room at 4:30 in the morning and said, "Daddy put the wrong dress on this doll". When I told my mom she could not stop laughing. Totally oblivious to what time it is. What a card (as grandma would say). Izzy and I also went to Kt's school's grandparents/special person day. Those pictures coming soon.

{Baptism & Blessing}

On Saturday, September 12, 2009 Bk was baptized by his grandpa Gordon and confirmed by grandpa Kent {LOVE this picture and Bk's cute smile!}, and...

Sophie was blessed by her dad Shaun! What a great weekend. So great that there are LOADS of pictures, but all very cute. For some reason I don't have any pictures of grandma and grandpa Conder. I will find some and add to this post.
Other weekend activities worth mentioning included making my first fabric flower, which didn't turn out to shabby. Documenting Sophia's kitchen bath, and Izzy wearing grandma's new dress up dress. Sophie is so cute, and her faces crack me up. Addie has nicknamed her butterball or baby budda.

The baptism program consisted of an opening prayer by Kt {I can't believe how grown up she is. I want her to stay little and making me talk stuffed animals with her forever} talks given by grandpa Conder and myself, an intermediate musical number by Kt, Izzy, and Brook {which was just Kt and a little Izzy, but they looked pretty}, and Grandma Conder giving the closing prayer. Afterwards we took pictures outside the church... Oh wait, the first few are right before we left for the church.

Grandpa and Grandma B and Chris and April B family.

Brook is so cute {cute will be said a lot in this post}.

An attempt at a cousin picture, but not working out so well with Izzy on the wrong rock.

Sophie looks so cute in this picture. It's just perfect... the 'lil butterball.

Big yawn.

After the baptism/blessing we went to none other than Chuck o' Rama. The after event family choice. I think I ate more cinnamon pull aparts then regular food. SOOOOooooo good. I had brought down Bk's birthday present and baptism present. For his b-day I got him a wolverine hand and a couple books. For his baptism my mom and I got him a toy Liahona, which Bk had been wanting for months.
Then, if that all wasn't enough, we went to the Washington City pool to swim. Brook and Izzy went on the big slide (and fast I might add) about 20 + times. Brook even went alone. Nothing scares her.
All in all it was a quick but good weekend. The only thing missing was Uncle Kasey.

Camping in the Uintas - Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend (ok, just Friday night) Nicole, Nate, Tom, Season, Anamae, and I decided to go camping. It was super fun. The weekend before we planned it all out and almost got the guys to go for secret sisters like we all remembered at girls camp. No such luck though. We got a great spot at a campground near Teapot lake and Lilly lake. There was one other lake near us... but I can't remember the name. Nicole, Season, and I were a little wary of the bears, but came up with some ideas to ward them off which included putting a long feather on the end of a gun and trying to tickle them away first. Effective? Who knows, hopefully none of us will. We ate loads and loads, froze, slept uncomfortably, and had a 25 course breakfast (again tons of food). After we packed up, Nate suggested that we go see the Provo River Falls, which were so beautiful. I never knew they were there, and was so glad I was able to see them. (Again, the pictures are backwards and I'm too lazy to change them, sorry).

Nicole and I's bed head hair. Hers is a lot worse than mine, but that is an indication of how little we all slept.
During dinner we played the game 'guess what song I'm whistling'. It was a hilarious. After dinner we sat around the campfire and played 'I'm telling a story, that is a movie, that I'm using as my own story', which was also h-i-l-arious again.
