Addie recently had pictures taken of the girls for Shaun for Valentine's Day. To sneak a peek at how ADORABLE they are click here. Skye Johansen was the photographer, and did such a good job.

Alien Baby
The other day Kt and Izzy were left alone in the kitchen with a high chaired Sophie. Kt, according to the journal entry of a 7 yr old, started to think about space. Kt decided it would be funny to make Sophie into a little alien. Sophie happily obliged and just let her do it. Shaun was on the computer in the other room and came back into the kitchen to find this. Needless to say, a photo shoot of the baby alien ensued. I had a pretty good laugh when I saw the pictures. In fact I laughed so hard that there was the beginnings of tears.
These little kiddies sure crack me up. Sophie is so cute. She is so shy and whenever I look at her she buries her head in mom or dad's chest smiling and kicks her legs around. Quite adorable. It's so fun to see their little personalities develop and how much they've grown just in the few weeks that pass inbetween that you see them.If I had a country cottage/cabin...
In the 3 seconds it took you to read the title and get to this point you have probably thought 'you should get a house before you think of getting a cottage/cabin' but as declared in a previous post--a girl can dream, right? Right. I found this little kitchen today while surfing design/decor blogs. I have always adored kitchens with shelves rather than cupboards, but would never do this if I had my own home..., well 1st home (if I ever get to that point). However, if I did have a quaint little cottage or cabin (small 2nd home/vacation home on the beach maybe?) I definitely would do this, and have dreamt of doing this on more than one occasion. I'm gonna say probably about 75-100 occasions. For now I will just stare at this for another 10 minutes taking in every minute detail and then go back every now and again to stare and sigh.2.08.2010
